Half way to Beijing

Philip Dunn is one step closer to the Olympics! Last weekend he won the mens 50k Olympic Team racewalk trials in Florida, with a winning time of 4:17 He’s now off to Russia in May to compete in the World Cup in hopes of meeting the Olympic gold standard time of 4:00 If he does this ( and I know he will) , he goes on to Beijing. This will be Philip’s 2nd time at the Olympics.

I had the pleasure of meeting Philip last October at the Portland marathon in which he participated in, of all things, Nordic walking ! (He won of course.) What a super guy! I wish him the best of luck at the World Cup in Russia.
