I walked every single day this week. I don’t know how I did it , but I managed to rack up 38 miles over the course of 7 days. I ended up doing six-6 miles walks, and then one-2 mile walk just to fill up that 7th day. I think that’s a record for me….!

For some reason I just couldn’t get enough this week. Everyday I had this craving to to racewalk as far as I could , for as long as I could. I had a head full of ideas on how to improve my walking technique . I wanted to get out there and put these thoughts into practice. Of course, I didn’t racewalk the whole 6 miles, but the ratio of regular walking to racewalking , is definitely on the rise for me.

This was a so-so breathing week , and with allergy season in full swing, I’m wheezing a lot more than usual. So, the fact that I was still able to walk , is pretty cool.

I’m Happy

    Nice!

That video by the way…. very strange.

Oh, and in today’s race, I had a hard time keeping up with the racewalking guy. He was FAST.

Hi Steve, Thanks for coming by my blog. Yours looks fantastic and is very inspirational.

“How is it that I can torture myself walking 30 miles a week, but I can’t find the will-power or the patience to do a few sit-ups now and then?”

For me, situps are like certain foods that are good for me but that I can’t seem to do more than peck at now and then. 30 miles a week is incredible.

Hi Steve, this is completely random, and you’ll die. My mom Susan was in the racewalking clinic with you, and she was showing me pictures and mentioned she thought you had a blog (we’re home in CT right now). I told her I would find it for her and here you are! Happy walking, keep it up, and can’t wait to check in. I’ll have to relay messages and news to my mom since she does NOT do the internet. Sounds like you guys had a great weekend together! Take care from the East Coast!
