Yesterdays Pulmonary Function Tests

This is the actual spirometry results from my appt yesterday. They do these PFT screening tests on me about every 3 months.

Over the past 12 months, they worsened only slightly. The good news is that the rate of declined has slowed since I began walking.

If the above looks like gibberish to you, it simply means my lungs suck! As bad as these numbers are though, I still manage to function fairly well. It just means that I have very little reserve. I’m always walking a thin line …….so to speak. Stressing myself too much or even catching a common cold, can push me over the edge, that’s why finishing a marathon is such a big deal for me
