One of my favorite places to walk is the town of Crockett, California. I begin my walk from the east side of town over the the AL Zampa bridge and back. I try to do this walk at least 4 days a week if I’m up to it. Three of the six miles are uphill. The course I take climbs 190 feet in the first mile, then an additional 40 feet at the center span of the bridge. Miles 3.5 to 6.0 are up and down. . I usually take a 5 min stretch break on the north side of the bridge.. On a good day I can walk this course in 1:22.

Today I took 122 pictures of this course as I was walking it . Surprisingly it didn’t slow me down that much. One of these days I hope to post some videos of my treks.
